About the role
At Life's New Beginning, the Area Supervisor manages a set of residential group homes, focusing on quality management, staff training, and mentoring.
Responsibilities
- Quality management of residential group homes
- Training and mentoring of direct support professionals (DSP)
- Facilitating team meetings
- Identifying and reporting mental health symptoms and behavior concerns
- Working hours to meet individual needs
- Effective communication with DSPs, management, families, and other professionals
- On-call rotation for managers
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license
- One year experience working with individuals with an intellectual disability and/or a mental health disorder
- Supervisory/management experience required
- Training requirements to maintain position
