Area Supervisor (District Manager)

Requirements

• Help set and review restaurant goals
• Follow up on General Managers' progress
• Provide coaching and direction to improve performance
• Hire and develop General Managers, Assistant General Managers and Shift Managers
• Drive outstanding reliability, product quality and financial performance
• Align resources, take immediate action and hold others accountable
• Manage limited budgets to meet highest priority needs
• Recruit, train, develop and motivate managers
• Evaluate for compliance around national brand promotions
• Visit restaurants frequently during all shifts including nights and weekends
• Conduct monthly cash and security audits
• Ensure managers uphold QSC standards
• Ensure restaurants meet operational goals
• Pass all announced and unannounced company audits
• Pass all Health Department and Ecosure food safety audits
• Develop managers to perform at the highest levels
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Operate restaurants in the most effective and efficient manner
• Review and analyze operational reports to improve underperforming areas
• Follow up on action plans to ensure improvements

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of McDonald's Corporation-Hamburger University / ROLP
• OTP 2 or OTP 3 preferred
• Experience as a General Manager / Area Supervisor / District Manager / Multi-Unit Ops Manager of a Quick Service Restaurant for at least 2 years
• Ability to recruit, develop and retain managers
• Relationship management: ability to successfully influence and build trust with varying styles and personalities
• Understanding of restaurant operations
• Proven ability to drive results through coaching and establishing successful routines and enforcing brand standards
• Strong P&L Management
• Strong verbal and written skills for communication
• Strong follow-up skills
• Friendly and outgoing
• Able to problem solve
• Able to sit, stand, drive and travel for extended periods of time
