Area Supervisor

About the role

The Area Supervisor plays a crucial role within the Store Leadership team, overseeing a specific area of the store and managing general operations and staff supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment by understanding and practicing safe behaviors, immediately correcting or reporting unsafe conditions.
• Ensure customer safety by preventing accidents, reporting incidents, and following emergency procedures.
• Manage the opening and closing of the store, supervise associates, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Execute and supervise company operational processes as needed.
• Manage front-end operations, train and coach associates, and ensure efficient customer service.
• Supervise fitting rooms, maintain merchandise tags, and ensure go-back compliance.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by the store manager.

Qualifications and Special Skills Required

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
