Area Supervisor

About the role

The Area Supervisor plays a crucial role within the Store Leadership team, overseeing a specific area of the store and managing general operations and supervision during the Manager on Duty shift. Key responsibilities include maintaining a safe and secure environment, providing excellent customer service, managing merchandise, and enforcing loss prevention measures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment by immediately correcting or reporting any unsafe conditions or practices to Store Leadership.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Manage associates, ensuring they follow Company standards and policies.
• Handle administrative duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
