Area Supervisor

About the role

The Area Supervisor plays a crucial role within the Store Leadership team at Ross, focusing on specific areas of the store and overseeing general operations. This position requires a deep understanding of safety, customer service, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment by immediately correcting or reporting unsafe conditions.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain a clean work area.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Manage customer safety, accident prevention, and emergency procedures.
• Support the Company brand and maintain a professional appearance.
• Manage loss prevention activities and adhere to the Loss Prevention Awareness Program.
• Supervise the front end, fitting rooms, and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Special Skills Required

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
