Area Supervisor

About the role

The Area Supervisor plays a crucial role within the Store Leadership team, overseeing a specific area and managing store operations. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, safety, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment by immediately correcting or reporting unsafe conditions.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain a clean work area.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Manage customer service, including handling complaints and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Manage the front-end operations, including training and coaching associates on cash registers and other procedures.
• Supervise fitting rooms and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Special Skills

• Physical requirements: ability to stand, walk, and move around the Store, bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
• Stockroom leads: ability to push, pull, and lift more than 20 lbs.
