Area Supervisor

About the role

The Area Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing a specific area of the store and managing the general operations and supervision of the store. This position is vital for maintaining a safe and secure environment, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient front-end operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment
• Treat all customers, associates, and leaders with respect
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain a clean work area
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed
• Manage the front-end operations, train and coach associates, and ensure salability of merchandise
• Supervise fitting rooms and ensure compliance with company policies
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by the store manager

Qualifications and Special Skills Required

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Physical Requirements

• Ability to use all store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs as required
• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for up to 100% of working time
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop
• Ability to push, pull, and lift more than 25 lbs occasionally
• Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies
