Area Supervisor

About the role

The Area Supervisor plays a crucial role within the Store Leadership team, overseeing a specific area of the store and managing general operations and staff supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment by understanding and practicing safe behaviors, immediately correcting or reporting unsafe conditions, and performing security tasks such as entrance/exit control, EAS device checks, cash office security, armored carrier pickups, and register area security.
• Treat all customers, associates, and leaders with respect, demonstrating courtesy, friendliness, and professionalism at all times, and recognizing associates using Company recognition programs.
• Represent and support the Company brand at all times, maintaining a professional appearance and ensuring all associates adhere to the Company Dress Code.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain a clean work area at all times, removing clutter and ensuring safe, clear egress to emergency exits.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed, including loss prevention, front end supervision and operations, fitting rooms, and administrative duties.

Qualifications and Special Skills Required

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
