Area Supervisor

About the role

The Area Supervisor plays a crucial role within the Store Leadership team, overseeing a specific area of the store and managing general operations and supervision when acting as the Manager on Duty. Key responsibilities include maintaining a safe and secure environment, providing excellent customer service, managing merchandise, and ensuring efficient front-end operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment
• Treat all customers, associates, and leaders with respect
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and store cleanliness
• Manage customer service and loss prevention
• Supervise associates and execute company best practices
• Manage fitting rooms and administrative duties
• Perform administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Special Skills Required

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Physical Requirements

• Ability to use all store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs
• Spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store
• Regularly bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop
• Occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 lbs
• Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies
