Area Service Manager

About the role

As an Area Service Manager (ASM), you will manage warranty requests and lead the quality improvement process for your assigned communities. You will serve as the on-site leader, conducting quality walks and warranty inspections, ensuring the completion of all warrantable work including emergency requests, managing vendor payments, and other related tasks. Most of your day will focus on ensuring trade partners complete scheduled tasks on time while adhering to our quality standards.

Technical tools used daily include DXC Homebuilder One (HB1), Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage warranty requests and oversee the quality improvement process for assigned communities.
• Conduct quality walk and warranty inspections.
• Ensure timely completion of all warrantable work, including emergency requests.
• Manage vendor payments and related administrative tasks.
• Oversee trade partners to ensure tasks are completed in alignment with quality standards.

Requirements

• Experience in residential construction or property maintenance.
• Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with homebuyers, trade partners, and internal teams.
• Active listening, confidence, and respect in all interactions.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to learn and utilize various job-related technologies.
