Area Sales Representative
About the role
Northern Gulf seeks an Area Sales Representative to help drive the Company’s customer acquisition as it expands its used-cooking oil (“UCO”) aggregation business in Texas. This position will implement best practices in sales and marketing to help NGS acquire new customers and increase the volume of UCO collected in Central Texas.
You will be the face of NGS in a high-growth Texas market, directly driving the company’s expansion and helping restaurants adopt more sustainable waste practices. This position will report directly to the division General Manager and will be involved in all sales, BD and marketing initiatives for the Company to help acquire new customer volumes, both at the individual restaurant level and the regional/national level. This position requires a self-starting and disciplined individual capable of working both independently and alongside the senior leadership on all sales and marketing matters related to the business.
Responsibilities
- Possess 1-3 years of experience in Sales
- Preferred prior experience and contacts in food service, facilities, or related industries
- Valid Driver’s license
- Efficient and effective communicator, bilingual is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Prospect and close new accounts (restaurants and institutions)
- Build and manage sales pipeline from start to finish with single and multi-location accounts
- Conduct on-site visits, presentations and service evaluations
- Develop a detailed and actionable list of individual stores, restaurants, venues and institutions to sell NGS UCO collection services to
- Identify multi-location regional and national account opportunities
- Contribute to marketing plan that showcases the benefits of partnering with NGS
- Maintain CRM for customer outreach, contracts, and follow-ups
- Track and update market and competitor pricing and information as gathered through sales calls
Requirements

Pay
Base Salary Range: $45,000 to $65,000 based on experience
Target annual income $75,000 to $85,000 in first year based on Sales production
