About the role
Responsible for managing all sales activities associated with ACO Drain, ACO Sport, ACO Infrastructure, ACO Stormbrixx, ACO Oil Water Separators, Aquaduct, Building Drainage & Market product lines within the Greater NY Area (Newark, NJ 07102 and surrounding region). Create and execute an approved business plan for the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and direct territory sales performance
- Exceed monthly and yearly sales budgets
- Monitor ACO Distributor’s performance to ensure they meet the terms of the Distributor Agreements
- Lead weekly review sessions with Inside Sales Representatives (ISR) & Customer Service Representatives (CSR) as the Captain of the Sales Team
- Identify, track, manage, and close major projects within the region, utilizing Microsoft Dynamics
- Search for new opportunities using available tools (Google, CMD, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Prepare and send submittal packages to ACO Distributors or Direct Buy customers after a Purchase Order has been received
- Establish specifications for ACO Products through Architects, Engineers, Design/Build Firms, etc.
- Analyze and communicate customer/client requirements to the ACO Customer Service, Business Development, or Technical Service Departments as appropriate
- Provide the Marketing Department with photos and project worksheets for promotional purposes
- Assist with customer problem resolution
- Participate in budget planning for the region
- Attend and set up trade shows
- Average 60% travel expected per month; supervisor approval required if more office time is needed

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or technical procedures
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Proficiency in MS Office software programs
- Ability to manage data files efficiently
- Ability to take photographs of products and product installations
- Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations
- Ability to travel daily and spend most of the day in a vehicle
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend daily
- Ability to operate a computer for 1-2 hours per day
- Ability to lift product up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis

Schedule
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (may vary depending on region/territory and business demand).
Pay
$110,000–$120,000 yearly salary
