Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train and develop Sales Associates while supporting them in achieving sales objectives in accordance with good business practices and company policies and procedures.
- Travel to assigned communities within region to manage field sales and ensure successful achievement of community sales goals.
- Run and review reports, pinpointing areas of need that align with company initiatives, while understanding the metrics that drive sales such as lead volume, sales conversion, cancellation rates, etc.
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Sales & Marketing to develop, monitor, and maintain sales plans for each assigned community.
- Provide ongoing sales training and coaching to enhance Sales Associates’ selling, closing, and soft skills.
- Effectively and professionally communicate with prospective buyers, customers, outside agencies, and employees.
- Prepare schedules for sales center staff.
- Conduct market analyses to collect and evaluate competitive data.
- Review and assess results from mystery shopping activities.
- Ensure that all sales materials are current, accurate, and appropriately displayed across each community.
- Participate in and facilitate bi-weekly sales meetings to support team alignment and performance.
Key Qualifications
- Valid Real Estate License (where required by state).
- Minimum of 1–2 years of prior sales management experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in new home sales.
- Strong and professional communication skills with prospective buyers, customers, external agencies, and team members.
- Proven ability to coach and develop sales professionals on company processes and consultative selling techniques.
- Results-oriented and strategic mindset, with a focus on achieving business plan objectives and performance metrics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work weekends and in excess of 40 hours per week, as needed.

Physical Requirements
- The ability to sit, stand, walk (including uneven terrain), bend, reach, climb stairs, and lift or carry items up to 25 pounds.
- Adequate color vision, hearing, and the ability to communicate clearly and type efficiently.
- Proficiency with computers, including the use of a keyboard and calculator.
- Extended computer use, paperwork, and phone communication.
- Conditions may involve moderate noise, heat, cold, and inclement weather.
- Operating a motor vehicle, visiting jobsites regularly, and reading construction plans.
- Frequent public contact, professional appearance and appropriate business attire are expected.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Travel Requirements
- A valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance is required at all times.
