Scope of Responsibility
- Collaborate with sales management to implement and maintain area-specific pricing strategies aligned with organizational goals and market conditions.
- Align local practices with corporate standards and objectives.
- Implement, maintain and monitor customer price records to ensure accuracy, profitability and efficiency.
- Educate and support sales associates with the goal to improve gross profit and reduce price overrides.
- Monitor the effectiveness of pricing programs and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Present analysis on pricing performance to the sales team.
Key Job Duties
- Partner with stakeholders during RFQ/RFP processes to develop local pricing strategies.
- Execute customer price updates in SAP as requested by the sales team.
- Serve as liaison between the chargeback department and sales associates, providing support and obtaining necessary pricing information.
- Apply critical thinking to resolve pricing issues in collaboration with sales team.
- Affiliate in special projects as assigned.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives for pricing processes.
Education And Experience Requirements
- Solid fundamental understanding of pricing structures and techniques.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Preferred: SAP OTC (Order to Cash), SAP Pricing, Vistex Modules, Power BI and AI experience.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate across all levels.
- Strong organization and time-management skills; consistently meets deadlines.
- Results-oriented; works effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; 3–5 years of related experience preferred.
