About the role

Operations roles at Amazon put you at the center of how things move from a click to a doorstep. You'll help design, improve, and run systems that connect people, products, and places, at scale. This is a ten-week internship (40 hours per week) during the summer of 2027 located within one of Amazon’s fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations, or other operations buildings. As an Area Manager Intern, you will learn how to coach, motivate, and mentor a team of Amazon associates in a warehouse environment while developing a summer project in partnership with site leadership.

This is an on-site position in a fast-paced supply chain environment where standing, walking, and on-the-production-floor conversations are common.

  • Work in an environment where the noise level varies.
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
