Area Manager / Bereichsleiter / Schichtleiter (m/w/d) - Leipzig
About the team
The Customer Fulfillment (CF) team was the foundation of Amazon from the very beginning. It has transformed from a group of book sellers into a highly skilled global team processing over 1.5 million orders daily. This team forms the backbone of our business and has helped us expand into new regions and services. Leveraging emerging technology, we continuously seek ways to offer a broader and better selection of products—delivered quickly and affordably. CF team members ensure our customers receive their orders at the speed we are known for. They work in fulfillment centers that form the heart of Amazon’s dynamic operations network. These centers are often referred to as the “first mile,” where most Amazon packages begin their journey. They manage a dynamic inventory and facilitate quick deliveries around the clock. In these centers, a variety of employee groups are employed. There are numerous opportunities for individuals with different skills. Some of us work with physical products, while others analyze data to help make informed business decisions across the company.
