Area Manager 2026 – Pennsylvania (Recent and Upcoming Graduates)
This is a full-time, entry-level position located within one of Amazon’s fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations, or other operations buildings. This role is not corporate, remote, or office-based.
About the role
Amazon is seeking customer-focused individuals to lead a team of hourly employees across our Operations network. As an Area Manager, you will engage, lead, and develop your team in a fast-paced warehouse environment where standing, walking, and on-the-floor conversations are common. You will motivate, mentor, and manage your team to meet goals while ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and performance standards are maintained.

Responsibilities
- Support, mentor, and motivate 50–100 direct-report Amazon Associates
- Work independently in an autonomous environment
- Stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
- Work nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs (most sites follow a fixed 4-day work week with 3 days off)
- Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, and operate powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment (at applicable facilities)
- Step in as needed in a variable-noise-level environment
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Climb and descend stairs (when applicable)
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026 (degree must be completed before your first day)
- Willingness to work in a warehouse environment with physical demands as described
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering, or a related field

Pay
Base salary range: $65,200 – $75,000 USD annually (varies by location). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
Locations in Pennsylvania: Breinigsville, Carlisle, Easton, Hamburg, Philadelphia, York.
