Area Manager 2026 – Ohio (Recent and Upcoming Graduates)
About the role
This is a full-time, entry-level position located within one of Amazon's fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations, or other operations buildings. Amazon is seeking customer-focused individuals to lead teams of hourly employees across its Operations network.
Responsibilities
- Engage, lead, and develop your team in a warehouse environment
- Motivate, mentor, and manage your team to meet goals
- Ensure your team has all the tools needed to succeed and maintain high levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance
- Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment (where applicable), and step in as needed
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Climb and descend stairs (when applicable)
Requirements
Support, mentor, and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates. Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment. Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours. Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs. While shifts vary site to site, most follow a fixed 4-day work week with 3 days off.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026 (must have all degree requirements met before your first day)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering, or another related field

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $65,200.00 - $75,000.00 USD annually.
Schedule
Shifts vary site to site, but most follow a fixed 4-day work week with 3 days off. Night, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required based on business needs.
