Area Maintenance Technician (Weekend Days)

Responsibilities

• Cook up work orders for production equipment.
• Attend meetings with manufacturing and engineering personnel to hammer out scopes of work and action plans for equipment repair and improvements.
• Inspect machines and equipment to ensure they’re performing as expected and are being used to their full potential.
• Utilize basic hand tools and electrical diagnostic tools to fix equipment that’s not working properly.
• Train and mentor less experienced technicians on maintenance best practices for their respective areas and equipment.
• Develop processes and procedures to boost equipment uptime.
• Lead work efforts for specific project tasks.
• Comply with all company attendance policies and guidelines; this includes, but is not limited to, regular attendance and occasional overtime.
• Work in team environments, solo work, and interacting with all levels of management and colleagues.
• Participate in continuous improvements initiatives within our processes to enhance work tasks.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications:
• Education: Certification in mechanical, electrical, or apprenticeship preferred. Associates or Bachelors degree in mechatronics preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of five years related experience in a maintenance role. Minimum of two years of related experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• 24/7 operations manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with vacuum casting furnaces, injection press machines, and/or Fanuc & Motoman robotic systems is preferred.
