About the Resort
Seasonal work at Big Bear Mountain Resort places you in the heart of Southern California’s outdoor playground. With three mountains—Bear Mountain, Snow Summit, and Snow Valley—the resort offers year-round alpine activities, including world-class skiing, snowboarding, sledding/tubing in winter, and mountain biking, hiking, base area activities, and golf in summer. Known for innovation, the resort features the most rideable terrain in Southern California, the region’s only halfpipes, the highest lift-served peak (8,805 feet), the first terrain park in North America (Bear Mountain, 1992), and the site of the first Winter X Games (Snow Summit, 1997). Located in the San Bernardino National Forest, the resort is approximately 100 miles from Los Angeles and Orange County and 150 miles from San Diego.
