About the role
Promote the Company's IIF culture by ensuring every co-worker returns home safely every night. Spend a minimum of 70% of time in the field observing and coaching co-workers and other safety professionals on correction of unsafe conditions and behaviors. Reinforce positive behavior through recognition and/or rewards. Serve as a resource to co-workers by answering questions about safety and sharing lessons learned. Use leading indicators to influence the future direction of safety in the project. Embed yourself with project teams and strategically "dive in" using a hands-on approach to improve project safety, quality, and productivity (SQP). Provide safety support to the business unit.
Responsibilities

- Assist in project compliance with all safety rules and regulations
- Responsible for case management
- Direct and/or oversee the work of staff
- Ensure a safe work environment
- Participate in training/certifications
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of a certificate in a related field, or construction experience with OSHA 500 training certification
- Minimum of 7 years of construction experience, or a minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience (including internship)
