About the role
As a Home Health Aide at Amedisys, you will provide compassionate care to patients in their homes, assisting with daily activities and medication management.Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming
- Help patients with meal preparation and nutrition
- Monitor patients' health conditions and report changes to healthcare providers
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Administer medications as directed by a physician
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Passionate about providing compassionate care
