Area Business Office Consultant - Long-Term Care

About the Role

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Business Office Consultant to support and optimize business office operations across multiple facilities in the North Texas Area (Denton, Gainesville, Decatur, etc.). This role requires heavy travel and the ability to ensure efficient, compliant operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and supervise business office staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy in operations.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private insurance billing requirements.
• Manage critical deadlines, organizing and prioritizing work to meet them while maintaining accuracy in financial and resident records.
• Provide training and mentorship to business office staff on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Foster collaboration across departments to achieve positive outcomes for residents and families.
• Maintain professional communication with residents and their families regarding financial concerns and inquiries.
• Monitor business office performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to drive efficiency in billing, collections, and financial operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience as a Business Office Manager in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private insurance billing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Understanding of HIPAA guidelines and ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of resident financials and records.
• Solid grasp of nursing home business functions, including billing, collections, and financial management.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Must qualify for company insurance, pass a DMV check, and practice good defensive driving skills due to heavy travel requirements.
