Area 4 Elementary School_Academic Coach (Allgood ES) 2026-2027

This is a one-year position funded through Title I, ending on or before June 30, 2027. The applicant accepting this position must apply for an available position and be recommended for a new role to continue employment with the DeKalb County School District for the 2026-2027 school year.

About the role

The Academic Coach utilizes best practices to increase student achievement by implementing, delivering, and promoting high academic expectations for all students.

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver high academic expectations to all students.
• Promote best practices to enhance student achievement.
• Work collaboratively with team members.

Requirements

• Valid Professional Standards Commission approved certificate at level 4 or higher in the specified content area.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
