Area 1 Elementary School_ Academic Coach (Hightower ES) 2026-2027

This is a one-year position funded through Title I, ending on or before June 30, 2027. The applicant accepting this position must apply for an available position and be recommended for a new role to continue employment with the DeKalb County School District for the 2026-2027 school year.

About the Role

The Academic Coach utilizes best practices to increase student achievement by implementing, delivering, and promoting high academic expectations for all students. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with team members and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

• Valid Professional Standards Commission-approved certificate at level 4 or higher in the specified content area.
