This co-op position supports a Burns & McDonnell department, global practice, or regional office. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a formal co-op program and available to work full-time during the fall 2026 academic term.
About the Role
The Global Facilities group plans and designs manufacturing facilities, administrative buildings, district energy systems, data centers, and mission-critical facilities. They serve industries including food and beverage, consumer products, healthcare, commercial, life sciences, pharmaceutical, and aerospace manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program is required.
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in a post-secondary education and/or technical certificate program related to the department’s work.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
- Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
- Active involvement in campus, community, or volunteer organizations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Self-motivated and eager learner with an aptitude to grow within the field.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time without requiring future employment visa sponsorship.
Pay
$17.75–28.00 hourly. The final compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and work location.
