About the role

Lead design and documentation efforts on multi-family, mixed-use, and commercial projects from concept design through construction administration.
Work directly with in-house development teams to interpret project goals, budgets, and pro formas into viable architectural solutions.
Manage zoning and code analyses; prepare regulatory submittals, including for site plan approvals, planning boards, and building permits.
Cook up with consultants, contractors, and internal construction teams to ensure design intent is realized efficiently and accurately.
Develop and oversee production of schematic design, design development, and construction documentation sets using Revit and other BIM tools.
Lead the integration of architectural design with structural, MEP, civil, and landscape disciplines to ensure complete and coordinated documents.
Attend and lead internal meetings and site visits; serve as a liaison between architecture, development, and construction teams.
Review and respond to RFIs, shop drawings, and submittals during construction; help troubleshoot field conditions with pragmatic, buildable solutions.
Mentor junior team members, reviewing drawings and modeling work for accuracy and completeness.
Contribute to design quality, project delivery standards, and process improvements within the architecture team.

Requirements

  • Professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited program
  • 5-10 years of professional architectural experience, with a strong portfolio of multi-family residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit is required; familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools preferred
  • Licensure preferred (or on path to licensure)
