What You'll Do

  • Lead and maintain the front-end space planning workflow and program processes for lab and workplace development projects
  • Manage multiple concurrent planning efforts for infrastructure, labs, and workplace spaces from initial concept through detailed test fits and planning package delivery
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing and executing many projects and tasks in parallel
  • Collaborate on feasibility studies and develop optimized test fits that meet operational, code, and design requirements
  • Translate design briefs, stakeholder requirements, and architectural constraints into detailed Revit models, space plans, and clear presentation materials
  • Cook up post-planning refinements, including basic model adjustments and package documentation to support downstream design and construction teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, facilities, operations, lab users) to ensure program alignment, resolve conflicts, and drive timely decisions

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, or equivalent experience
  • 5–7 years of professional experience in space planning, lab planning, workplace design, or related fields
  • Strong technical proficiency in Revit (required for modeling, space planning, and documentation); proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite (for diagrams/presentations), and PowerPoint
  • Proven experience leading front-end lab planning, workplace space planning, or similar environments
  • Solid understanding of engineering disciplines, building codes, lab safety/operational standards, and workplace ergonomics
  • Track record of delivering integrated planning packages (e.g., test fits, space utilization reports, IFC/IFP-level documentation)
  • Exceptional program management skills: ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to align diverse teams and drive consensus

Pay

Expected Compensation $96,000 - $210,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
