What You'll Do
- Lead Projects from Start to Finish
- Manage every phase of the project lifecycle—from planning and design through construction administration and project closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead weekly project meetings and proactively resolve issues.
- Cook up coordination with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits to ensure construction aligns with project intent.
Build High-Performing Teams
- Mentor architects and designers, supporting their professional growth.
- Delegate effectively while maintaining accountability.
- Foster a collaborative, creative, and inclusive team environment.
Maintain Project Excellence
- Review drawings, specifications, and documentation for quality, code compliance, and constructability.
- Prepare specification manuals and coordinate complete bid packages.
- Manage contracts, change orders, approvals, and project documentation.
- Maintain project management and resource allocation software with weekly updates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- 15+ years of professional experience in architecture or a related design field.
- Proven success managing multiple architectural projects from schematic design through construction administration.
- Strong leadership experience, including mentoring teams and managing project delivery.
- Proficiency in Revit, Enscape, and project management software.
- Thorough knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, permitting, and construction documentation.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with K-12, higher education, or civic architecture.
- Professional architectural licensure.
- Experience with BQE Core.
- Knowledge of public-sector procurement, DSA, or similar regulatory processes.
