Architectural Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage education projects from beginning to end.
• Primary client relationship duties, working with Principals and Senior Designers to achieve client goals.
• Project Management for an ongoing body of work.
• Manage support staff and consultants to produce and execute extraordinary work.
• Client interaction, proposal writing, budget and schedule management, team coordination, consultant coordination, and quality control.
• Perform a variety of tasks including design, production, and construction administration responsibilities.
• Some travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited university.
• 8+ years of professional design experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• California Architectural license preferred or on registration track.
• Experience creating and developing overall design concepts and formulating design presentation strategies with understanding of multiple project typologies.
• Emphasis on California schools and higher education projects involving DSA required.
• Strong organization, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and programs used to prepare presentation documents (e.g., PowerPoint, InDesign, Photoshop) strongly preferred.

Pay

Anticipated salary range for this position: $100,000–135,000. Actual salary will be based on experience level.
