Architectural Project Manager
Läderach North America is seeking an Architectural Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of retail development projects. This role will oversee permitting, due diligence, and cross-functional coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with brand standards.
- Manage permitting submissions and approvals, including tracking and coordination with authorities
- Conduct mall and jurisdictional due diligence to determine project requirements and approval processes
- Review architectural and MEP drawings for compliance with company, landlord, and local standards
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, landlords, and internal stakeholders across the project lifecycle
- Track project milestones and maintain accurate documentation
- Identify risks and proactively develop solutions to maintain timelines
- Support construction and store development teams with technical review and coordination
About the Role
The Corporate Functions team supports innovation and execution across North America, driving excellence in retail development and operations. The team encompasses a wide range of activities, including finance, IT services, global marketing and sales management, and human resources.
Responsibilities
- Manage permitting submissions and approvals, including tracking and coordination with authorities
- Conduct mall and jurisdictional due diligence to determine project requirements and approval processes
- Review architectural and MEP drawings for compliance with company, landlord, and local standards
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, landlords, and internal stakeholders across the project lifecycle
- Track project milestones and maintain accurate documentation
- Identify risks and proactively develop solutions to maintain timelines
- Support construction and store development teams with technical review and coordination
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of construction documentation and MEP systems
- Experience managing permitting processes and coordinating with jurisdictions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to review plans and identify discrepancies and compliance issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
Preferred Attributes
- Experience with shopping malls, retail landlords, and commercial permitting authorities
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Background in architectural project management

What We Expect From You
- An accredited degree in architecture (or related field)
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial/retail architectural design
- Proficiency (Expert Level) in CAD software
- A strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and residential construction practices
- Experience in all phases of project development, from schematic design to construction documentation and administration
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with internal team members or departments
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a high level of attention to detail
- Eligible to work in the US and located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area
