Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural projects from initial concept through design, permitting, construction, and turnover.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, scopes of work, and deliverables.
- Cookordination multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
- Facilitate design charrettes, user-group meetings, and stakeholder presentations.
- Review and approve design documents, technical drawings, and specifications for accuracy and quality.
- Oversee permitting processes, regulatory compliance, and jurisdictional approvals.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients and internal leadership regarding project progress, risks, and decisions.
- Assist assigned Project Manager with construction administration functions, including RFIs, submittals, site visits, field reports, and punch lists.
- Ensure that design intent and brand standards are maintained throughout all project phases.
- Promote collaboration, problem-solving, and value-driven solutions across teams.
- Support continuous improvement of project delivery processes, tools, and best practices.
- Manage the real estate database for Enterprise consisting of drawings, closeout manuals and any relevant historical data.
- Maintain the JMFE Design Guidelines making periodic updates from lessons learned, changes in policy and procedures, technology or trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of architectural project management experience.
- Proficiency with industry software (Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MS Project, and related tools).
- Strong understanding of building codes, permitting, and construction processes.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and client-relationship skills.
- Experience in commercial, corporate, industrial, or workplace design projects.
