About the role
Studio Latofiume is an innovative and growing studio in New Orleans, focusing on commercial and residential projects in multiple states. We are seeking a talented Architectural Job Captain with solid experience, design confidence, and the technical skills to support across our growing pipeline of new work.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate with various parties including Surveyors, Engineers, Contractors, Owner Vendors, etc.
- Deliver multi-unit restaurant or retail projects.
- Manage and coordinate with the various other parties required for project delivery.
- Experience with all phases of project delivery from early site due diligence through construction administration.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask.
- Understand building codes and reference codes in multiple jurisdictions.
- Proficiency with REVIT, AutoCAD, Rhino, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Comfortable traveling up to 30% of the time as needed for projects.
- Willingness to engage with a diverse set of clients across a range of project types.
- Work on a full-time hybrid model (2 days in person/3 remote) out of a coworking space in New Orleans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- 5-7 years of experience in an architectural or interior design firm
- Previous experience delivering multi-unit restaurant or retail projects
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage a project independently and ask for help when needed
- Experience managing and coordinating with various project stakeholders
- Expert proficiency with REVIT, AutoCAD, Rhino, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Licensed Architect or on path to licensure
- Currently lives in or willing to quickly relocate to New Orleans
