Architectural Job Captain - Oakland

About the role

The TCA Architects Employer is seeking an Architectural Job Captain to join their Oakland studio. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Revit, have experience in multi-family projects, and possess strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design development and construction document preparation
• Team coordination on multifamily and mixed-use projects
• Proficient in Revit and related construction techniques
• Knowledge of building construction types, IBC, CBC, and disabled access requirements
• Understanding of consultant drawings and systems
• Hand sketching of details before producing Revit drawings

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years architectural experience with 2 years in multi-family projects required
• Minimum of 4 years Revit experience required
• Working knowledge of building construction types I, II, III, and V
• Strong understanding of IBC, CBC, and disabled access requirements
• Good understanding of consultant drawings and systems
• Possess excellent organizational skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required
• California licensed Architect or on track to become licensed preferred

Proficiency in Revit, strong understanding of building construction types, IBC, CBC, and disabled access requirements, good understanding of consultant drawings and systems, hand sketching of details before producing Revit drawings, excellent organizational skills.

Pay

$75,000 - $115,000 annually

Schedule
