About the role

The TCA Architects Job Captain is responsible for design development, construction document preparation, and team coordination on multifamily and mixed-use projects.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in Revit and related construction techniques
• Experience with multi-family projects
• Construction administration experience preferred
• Knowledge of building construction types L, LL, and V
• Understanding of IBC, CBC, and disabled access requirements
• Good understanding of consultant drawings and systems
• Ability to hand sketch details before producing Revit drawings
• Excellent organizational skills

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 to 6 years architectural experience with 2 to 4 years in multi-family projects
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years Revit experience
• Working knowledge of building construction types L, LL, and V
• Strong understanding of IBC, CBC, and disabled access requirements
• Good understanding of consultant drawings and systems
• Possess excellent organizational skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• California licensed Architect or on track to become licensed
