Architectural Drafter (Hybrid - PA, NC, VA)

About the role

Keystone Custom Homes seeks a passionate and detail‑oriented Architectural Drafter to join a dynamic team. In this hybrid‑eligible role (within commuting distance of PA, MD, VA, and NC offices), you will help execute projects by creating compelling customer plans that elevate the brand and support the mission of “Building Dreams Together.”

Responsibilities

• Create compelling customer plans that elevate brand identity.
• Collaborate with key departments to support project execution.
• Conceptualize and draft all four elevations of a home based on customized floorplans.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on deadlines.
• Accurately assemble floorplans within pre‑drawn layouts, incorporating customizations and completing repetitive drafting tasks and corrections efficiently.

Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in CAD, Drafting, Architectural Design, or a related field.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with AutoCAD and a history of impactful contributions.
• Preferred 3‑5 years of homebuilder experience.
• Foundational knowledge of construction methods, materials, and basic IRC codes.

Skills

• Ability to vividly envision walking through a 2D floorplan and offer valuable insights.
• Proactive self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Quick learner of processes and SOPs, able to clearly communicate next steps.
• Experience in residential drafting and design.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 – $80,000, commensurate with experience.
