Architectural Drafter

About the role

We are looking for a talented Architectural Drafter to join our growing company as a member of our Architecture Team. As a Charter Homes and Neighborhoods Team member, you will play an important role in helping us make our mark by setting a new standard for how our country looks and people live, making them feel special by building homes and neighborhoods with character that they will truly love.

Responsibilities

• Use architectural software like Revit or AutoCAD to translate concepts, sketches, and design specifications into precise layouts, ensuring design and structural standards are met.
• Work in collaboration with others to revise drawings as needed throughout the design process.
• Translate concepts and sketches into models for Architectural use.
• Ensure the models produced meet design and structural standards as per prescribed standards.
• Work with the Architecture Team and others to iterate models in support of the activities necessary to produce final plans for use by the Homebuilding Team.
• Properly document all necessary information for the drafting process.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in residential or commercial architectural drafting.
• Responsible for delivering complete architectural plans on schedule and according to standards.
