Architectural Designer, Residential

Responsibilities

• Contribute and manage the complex coordination, development and production of projects from concept design through construction administration, installation, and project handover.
• Able to assist/guide a team on all phases of a project.
• Able to manage multiple projects across the board, simultaneously.
• Strong client facing capabilities.
• Construction Documentation level drawing work, including highly articulate design detailing.
• Proficiency with traditional architectural vocabulary and the fundamentals of building construction and assembly.
• Strong in vendor management; and coordination with extensive consultant team inclusive of MEP and Structural Engineers, Lighting Designers, Landscape Designers, et cetera.
• Comfortable presenting ideas - both internally and externally.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 2-5 years of professional architectural experience.
• Residential experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction methods.
• Ability ot produce technical documentation (DD, CD/IDD).
• Fluency in AutoCAD & Sketchup.
• Strong graphics and visual presentation skills.
• 3D modeling and rendering experience (Rhino, Revit) is a plus.
• Dexterity with hand drawing: rendering capabilities is a plus.
