Essential Functions

  • Works closely with the Architectural Project Managers and Architects in creating drawing and specification standards.
  • Responsible for creating production drawings to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
  • Aids the team in coordinating project information and timing.
  • Works in a team environment producing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Collaborates with jurisdictions and consultants.
  • Eager to learn and know Code issues.
  • Leads and mentors Architectural Designer I staff.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Ability to lead project teams

Qualifications

  • Professional degree (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam software.
  • Excellent communications and organization skills.
  • A high knowledge about how buildings get put together.
  • Ability to balance workload and deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong graphic and visualization skills to create design ideas and detail standards.
