About the role

Woolpert is hiring an Architectural Designer for the Healthcare team in its Coral Gables, FL office. The ideal candidate should be able to apply sound and diverse knowledge of architectural principles and practices on a broad array of assignments and building types, translating conceptual ideas into detailed plans and construction documents. This is an in-person/hybrid work environment. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position; applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform a variety of assignments requiring skills in all conventional aspects of architectural designs for projects of moderate size and complexity
• Perform analyses of design, planning, and occupancy studies and limited design layouts
• Prepare project specifications, compiling and analyzing relevant data
• Write reports and specifications
• Review completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3+ years’ experience in Architecture
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (required)
• Master’s Degree (preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and SketchUp
• Advanced-level competency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Fully competent in all conventional aspects of architecture

Pay

Base pay range: $65,800 – $82,300 USD, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
