Architectural Designer/Drafter - Residential

About the role

We are currently seeking an ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER / DRAFTER in our Pleasanton, CA location. This is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite at our Pleasanton, CA office.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques for small projects or selected segments of a larger project.
• Perform design layouts and features, which require researching, compiling, and recording information for assigned project work.
• Review drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards and implement any changes as directed.
• Assist project teams and other staff members as required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of post-graduate / professional experience or A/E/C internship required.
• Bachelor or Master of Architecture (required).
• Recent experience working on architectural projects within the United States.
• Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. building codes, permitting processes, and construction practices.
• Commitment to their own professional growth as designer, architect, or planner.
• Commitment to obtaining licensure preferred.

Salary range: $70,000 - $75,000 depending on qualifications. Placement within this pay range will be determined by factors such as education, qualifications, project complexity and/or experience. The maximum is reserved for candidates who currently meet all job requirements.
