Architectural Designer, Commercial Division

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the complex coordination, development and production of projects from concept design through construction administration, installation, and project handover.
• Work with a team on all phases of a project (Architectural and Interior Design development).
• Manage multiple projects across the board, simultaneously.
• Show strong client facing capabilities.
• Perform construction documentation level drawing work, including highly articulate design detailing.
• Show proficiency with traditional architectural vocabulary and the fundamentals of building construction and assembly.
• Show strong vendor management; and coordination with extensive consultant team inclusive of MEP and Structural Engineers, Lighting Designers, Landscape Designers, et cetera.
• Show comfort in presenting ideas - both internally and externally.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 4-6 years of professional architectural experience.
• Experience in Construction, Drawing details & interest in traditional design preferred.
• Commercial experience is a plus.
• Show knowledge of construction methods.
• Show ability to produce technical documentation (DD, CD/IDD).
• Show fluency in AutoCAD.
• Show strong graphics and visual presentation skills.
• Show dexterity with hand drawing: rendering capabilities is a plus.
