Architectural Designer

This is a Contract to Hire position based in Milwaukee, WI, with an anticipated close date of August 7, 2026.

About the Role

We are seeking an architect with experience in preliminary and conceptual design, demonstrating creativity and problem-solving skills. The role involves comprehensive project due diligence, site research, and coordination with other design disciplines to ensure cohesive project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary and conceptual design with a focus on creativity and problem-solving.
• Conduct comprehensive project due diligence and site research.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and ADA accessibility standards.
• Perform field measuring and data collection to support accurate documentation and design decisions.
• Coordinate with other design disciplines for integrated project outcomes.
• Work towards becoming a licensed architect in the state of Wisconsin.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
• Experience with Revit and construction documents.
• Proficiency in field measuring and data collection.
• Knowledge of building codes and ADA accessibility standards.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00 per hour.
