Architectural AutoCAD Draftsperson

Key Responsibilities Prepare architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, roof plans, and construction details.Develop and maintain AutoCAD files, layers, blocks, layouts, sheet sets, and drawing standards.Incorporate project manager markups, field information, and consultant drawings.Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, civil, and other disciplines.Prepare permit-ready documents addressing building codes, accessibility, egress, and life safety.Manage revisions, drawing schedules, RFIs, supplemental instructions, and as-built drawings.Create SketchUp models, Lumion renderings, and assist with Revit modeling and presentations as needed.Maintain drawing accuracy, quality, and consistency while meeting project deadlines. Required Qualifications 2-5 years of architectural construction-documentation experience.Advanced AutoCAD proficiency, including Xrefs, layouts, layers, blocks, annotation, and plotting.Strong understanding of construction detailing, including walls, roofing, waterproofing, doors, windows, and finishes.Working knowledge of building codes, accessibility, egress, and life safety.Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, civil, equipment, and landlord drawings.Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, Interior Design, or equivalent experience.Experience with commercial, restaurant, retail, or tenant-improvement projects.Familiarity with the Florida Building Code and local permitting requirements.Experience with Revit, SketchUp Pro, Lumion or V-Ray, Bluebeam Revu, and Adobe Photoshop.Knowledge of InDesign or Illustrator is an additional advantage.
