Architect Lead

About the role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Architect K-12 to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers tremendous growth opportunities and the chance to make a lasting impact on the future of education.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative and practical architectural designs for K-12 educational facilities, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D models that meet project-specific needs.
• Oversee the entire architectural process from concept development to construction administration, coordinating with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to create accurate and detailed architectural drawings and models.
• Apply expertise in educational construction, ensuring designs comply with relevant building codes and standards for K-12 facilities.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers through design charrettes, brainstorming sessions, and client meetings to integrate all perspectives into final designs.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior architects and designers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an architect, with a focus on K-12 educational facilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating innovative and functional architectural designs for K-12 educational facilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership abilities and experience managing teams.

Pay

$145,000 - $195,000 per year
