Architect/ Job Captain

Permanent/Direct hire position available immediately with a well-established architecture firm in Minneapolis.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team from project inception through all phases of the project
• Prepare design drawings, models, and/or specifications as directed by senior staff
• Research and implement jurisdictional zoning, site planning, and building codes
• Integrate architectural design and/or models with structural, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Understand and prepare architectural detailing requisite to project document production
• Participate in technical discussions with contractors, consultants, project teams, and clients
• Coordinate the team and project through the construction phase
• Work closely with the Project Manager and team to coordinate the work effort amongst all internal and external team members
• Deliver overall quality consistent with scope, budget, and project goals
• Actively build new and future relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture Degree; Professional Architecture Degree a plus
• Proficiency in Revit and BlueBeam is required
• 5-10+ years of professional experience in an architecture firm
• Ability to both multi-task and be organized
• A practiced communicator and presenter, able to articulate ideas
• Strong client interface skills
• A diverse portfolio including Industrial, Warehouse, Corporate, or other Commercial project experience
• Detail-oriented with a strategic, big-picture perspective
• Effective team experience working with multiple team members

Pay

The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $115,000/year. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, and internal equity.

This is a permanent, fully onsite position based in Minneapolis, MN.
