This entry-level training position involves assisting with assigned departments and projects by performing basic architectural calculations and routine architecture-related tasks, reflecting elements of standard post-secondary architectural curriculum. This role is typically part-time, temporary, or co-op based and functions under close supervision.
Responsibilities
- Performs elementary architectural assignments and works from designs of others.
- Compiles data, performs basic computations, and prepares working drawings on projects of limited scope.
- Assists in compiling data for architectural plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and business development.
- Assists in conducting preliminary studies to obtain space and design requirements, including measurements and sketches for contract drawings.
- Researches, gathers, and records information for writing specifications.
- Performs basic analyses of design, planning, and occupancy studies, as well as limited design layouts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary architectural or related program.

Pay
- Los Angeles Metro Area and Orange County, CA: $21.99 - $32.98 per hour.
- Washington: $22.94 - $34.41 per hour.
- Colorado: $21.03 - $31.54 per hour.
- New York: $23.90 - $35.85 per hour.
Actual compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and physical work location within the state.
Schedule
Full-time internship. The anticipated last day to apply is December 30, 2026, though the job may be unposted earlier if filled or no longer needed.
