Responsibilities
- Reports to site appropriate leadership in facilities, planning and design division.
- Participates in the full range of architectural work as assigned.
- May lead Architect I and Design Techs as directed by manager.
- Participates in quality, building code and life safety reviews of buildings and projects as assigned.
- Provides programming and planning services to Project Managers as assigned.
- Quality review of construction documents created by in-house Project Design Group and external consultants, as assigned.
- Specification development and update.
- Provides technical support for design and facilities functions, including Project Design Group and Architectural committees as assigned.
- Technical support for Facilities Operations functions as assigned.
- Development, documentation and revision of Reference Standards and Design Guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture is required, preferably from a NAAB accredited school, and 10 years of design and construction documents and architectural project experience in a multi-disciplinary architectural/engineering environment required.
- 5 years healthcare remodeling project experience preferred.
- Proficiency in current AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office software required.
- Able to handle pressure associated with heavy project load and tight timelines.
- Excels at verbal and written communications, presentation skills and customer service.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Responsible for maintaining own personal technical competency.
- Develops and applies facilities standards.
- Responsible for maintaining own personal technical competency.
- Architectural license is required. Must have a state appropriate license (MN, WI, AZ, FL) as applicable OR appropriate state reciprocity required within 6 months. NCARB certification records for reciprocity is preferred.
Pay
$107,452.80 - $150,425.60 / year
