About the role
MUST HAVE:
- Licensed Architect in the State of New York
- 5–10 years of architectural experience, with a strong background in K-12 and higher education design
- Thorough understanding of SED procedures for public school projects
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and client expectations effectively
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to all phases of design and construction for K-12 and higher education projects
- Interpret and implement New York State Education Department (SED) requirements for public school facilities
- Stay up-to-date with SED procedures and ensure compliance throughout project delivery
- Build strong client relationships, understanding their vision and ensuring project goals are met
- Participate in business development efforts, identify new opportunities, and support strategic growth initiatives
