Architect - K-12

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Architect to join our dynamic team at ISG, a leading architecture and engineering firm. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing educational spaces and a desire to work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead K–12 project delivery while supporting business development through identifying and pursuing new opportunities and building strong relationships with clients and industry partners
• Guide projects from concept through construction completion, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver strategic, high-quality design solutions aligned with project goals
• Coverage of proposals and lead client engagement, presentations, and stakeholder decision-making
• Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, and documentation to ensure quality and successful execution
• Provide daily mentorship to project architects and project managers on active projects, conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and client satisfaction, and foster innovative, community-focused outcomes that bring client visions to life
• Absorb and execute work within the Education Business Unit throughout the entire ISG footprint, assisting in winning and executing work, which may require travel

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree from an accredited architecture program, or equivalent experience
• Licensed to practice architecture
• K-12 experience, required
• Ability to connect and promote ISG’s solutions to clients
• Ability to communicate ideas empathetically and visually through both written and verbal communications
• Familiarity in Revit, Adobe Suite and Sketchup computer software packages
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, participate with a variety of team members on different projects at varying levels of development

Qualifications

• Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards

Pay

$65,000 - $165,000 / year
